The first segment of the World Cruise ended here, in Callao, Peru. Callao is the seaport for Lima, which is 45 miles inland.

Back in the port the Crystal crew had been busily preparing for new guests and for our upcoming days at sea. Commercial ports have a certain fascination all their own, don't you think?

We set sail at 9pm on Saturday night, heading west to Easter Island, somewhere in the Pacific! (We have been promised that we will be able to watch the Super Bowl in real time tonight - go Pats!)
